Stuck Tractor-Trailer Leads To Road Closures In Westport A busy area road was temporarily shut down on Sunday night when a tractor-trailer got stuck in the roadway. The tractor-trailer was making a turn onto Saugatuck Avenue off of Sunrise Road in Westport at approximately 7:30 p.m., when the driver got stuck, leading to a temporary road closure as crews unloaded the cargo from the back of the truck. There were no injuries reported, and no other vehicles were involved in the incident. The road was reopened to traffic shortly thereafter

Power company employees are replacing the pole on Pepper Ridge at Vine Road that was smashed during the crash around 8 p.m. Sunday, police said.
