FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Temperatures across Fairfield County were set to take a drastic dive into the 20s overnight and could be accompanied by snow showers Friday morning and wind of up to 15 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
The snow should clear out by Friday afternoon, with high temperatures rising to about 40 degrees. The chance of snow in the morning is around 20 percent.
Sun will linger on Saturday with high temperatures of about 38 degrees but feeling much colder with wind gusts over 20 mph.
Snow returns to the forecast Sunday afternoon and could continue into Monday morning. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
