BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A 50-year-old Branford man was charged with sexually assaulting a female passenger while he was working as an Uber driver in Bridgeport, according to the Connecticut Post.
The woman reported to police that 50-year-old Wael Salem of Branford had picked her and two friends up to take them to a club on Main Street on Saturday night, the Connecticut Post reported. She said that during the ride, Salem commented on her breast size before grabbing her chest several times, according to the Connecticut Post.
When confronted by police, Salem denied grabbing the woman, according to the Connecticut Post. He was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault, third-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct, and released on a $10,000 bond, according to the Connecticut Post.
