Two Die In Fiery One-Car Crash On Christmas Eve In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Two people died when their car slammed into a concrete barrier at the end of a dead-end street in Bridgeport late on Christmas Eve, according to the Connecticut Post.

The crash occurred at the end of Laurel Avenue, off Capitol Avenue, in Bridgeport late Saturday.

The passenger was declared dead at the scene, and the driver, who was pulled from the burning car by a witness, died later at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, the Post said.

The Nissan Pathfinder crashed on Laurel Avenue, off Capitol Avenue, just before 10 p.m. Saturday, police told the Post.

Police were investigating the cause of the double-fatal crash.
