BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Bridgeport police arrested a juvenile in connection with a series of drive-by paintball attacks on the city's East Side that left a man blind in one eye, according to News12 Connecticut.
Carloads of teens are firing paintballs that have been frozen, making the hits more painful and causing more injuries, News12 said.
Victor Cacho, 41, told News 12 he suffered huge bruises on his back after he was hit six times in an attack at 9:30 p.m. Monday at Ogden Street and Noble Avenue.
Another victim was hit down the street, leaving him blind in one eye and undergoing surgery in an effort to save the sight in his other eye, Police Chief AJ Perez told News12.
Up to eight people were hit in multiple attacks, News 12 said.
The name of the suspect was not released because he is underage.
