Police Make Arrests In Three Bridgeport Murders

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Bridgeport Police have made three arrests in the past week in connection with three different murders from 2015, according to the Connecticut Post.

Michael Majors, 23, of Bridgeport, has confessed to killing 14-year-old Luis Colon, also of Bridgeport, according to police.

The arrests included, the Post said: 

  • Orlando Pacheco, 40, of Waterbury, who was charged with killing the owner of a barbershop in October in a home invasion;
  • Wilfredo Ortiz, 56, of Bridgeport, was charged in a stabbing death; and
  • A second unnamed suspect was charged in the Christmas Eve shooting death of Luis Colon, 14.
Michael Majors, 23, has already been charged with murder in the death of Luis Colon, a high school freshman who was hit as he crossed the street near a neighborhood barber shop.
