Police: Bridgeport Man Shot To Death Thursday Was Not Intended Target

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Police have identified the 34-year-old man who was shot to death on Sixth Street in Bridgeport on Thursday morning.

Cadell Moore, 34, of Bridgeport was fatally shot at around 11 a.m. while working on his car in front of the house at 54/56 Sixth St., city spokesperson Av Harris said. It does not appear that Moore was the intended target, Harris said.

Moore sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to Bridgeport Hospital by ambulance, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
