An unidentified victim was hospitalized after a reported stabbing that took place overnight in Bridgeport.

The incident occurred around 12:27 a.m. Sunday near the Mini-Market at the intersection of Barnum Avenue and East Avenue, said Av Harris, Director of Legislative Affairs/Public Policy for the City of Bridgeport.

The victim, identified as a man, was treated at Bridgeport Hospital.
