BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A 3-year-old Bridgeport boy who was taken Wednesday by his babysitter's friend was found safe, the Connecticut Post said.
The babysitter and her friend, Kashunda Gandy, 36, admitted they had smoked PCP together, the Post said.
Bridgeport police issued an Amber Alert, but as the search was underway, Gandy showed up with the boy at Bridgeport Hospital after taking a taxi from a Stratford hotel, the Post said.
The boy's mother had reported him missing police after she checked in with her sitter, the Connecticut Post reported.
A Bridgeport resident, Gandy was charged with risk of injury to a child and second-degree reckless endangerment and was held on $25,000 bond, the Post said.
