BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The Bridgeport Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who swiped a cellphone that had been left in a fast-food restaurant.
At 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, a cellphone was left on the table by a patron of Popeye’s Chicken at 287 North Ave. in Bridgeport, said Kevin Coughlin, city of Bridgeport's public safety spokesman.
The suspect who took the phone is described as a black male wearing a blue shirt. He fled the scene in a gray late model Chevrolet pickup truck with an extended cab.
