Bridgeport Man Held After Kids Found In Filthy Drug Factory, Police Say

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. -- Three young children were found living in a bedbug-infested, garbage-filled apartment that was being used as a drug factory, police told News 12 Connecticut.

Bridgeport Police recently arrested a convicted felon after a raid at his East Side home uncovered drugs, money, and cash. Three young children were found living in the bedbug-infested, garbage-strewn apartment on Jane Street, police said.

Police made the horrifying discovery during a raid on 27-year-old Hernando Pusey’s Jane Street home, the News 12 report said.

Pusey, a convicted felon, was arrested after police said they found heroin, marijuana and cash in the filthy apartment, the News 12 Connecticut report said.

Officials from the Department of Children and Families were brought in to check on the children, according to News 12 Connecticut.

It could not be determined Thursday if the children were removed from the home.
