John Compton, of Quinsey Drive, was driving a quad ATV when it struck a curve and rolled over on Turkey Roost Road at about 6 p.m., according to the report. He died of his injuries at St. Vincent’s Hospital, according to the report.
The Connecticut Post blog said a 2-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl, both from Monroe, were passengers on the ATV. They were treated at area hospitals and released to their parents, according to the report.
It is illegal to operate an ATV on a public road.
