22-Year-Old Man Shot In Stomach In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A man shot in the stomach Tuesday evening in Bridgeport was listed in stable condition in the hospital, police said.

The Bridgeport Police Department is actively investigating the shooting, which occurred at about 7:15 p.m. Oct. 27 on Washington Avenue near Highland Avenue.

When officer arrived, they found a 22-year-old man, suffering from one gunshot wound to the stomach, police said.

He was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital by ambulance and was in stable condition.
