The toddler was receiving medical care late Friday afternoon, a city of Bridgeport spokeswoman confirmed.
The girl had a good heart rate after the incident at 2:30 p.m. Friday on May Street, Bridgeport Police Chief AJ Perez told the Connecticut Post.
The girl, who received CPR from a young man at the scene, was first taken to St. Vincent's and was not conscious at the time, Perez told the Post. She was then transferred to Yale-New Haven Hospital, the Post said.
A police investigation was underway at the home, the Post said.
