BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Lifelong Bridgeport resident Kathryn Muldowney Arsenault died on Saturday, Feb. 13. She was 81.
Arsenault worked at Golf Digest, where she was proud of her position as heading the "Hole in One" department before her retirement, after 15 years.
She "loved nothing more than spending time with her children and friends and doting on her grandchildren," according to obituary information provided by Abriola Parkview Funeral Home. "Always impeccably dressed, she had a sense of style unrivaled by most and never took herself too seriously."
Arsenault is survived by her daughters, Lisa Arsenault of Milford, Laurie Kuhn and her husband John of Bridgeport, and Cherie Gorman and her husband Stephen of Monroe; grandchildren Christopher and Andrew Gorman, Jack Arsenault, and Jessica, Victoria and Alexandra Kuhn; sister-in-law Dorothy Muldowney of Milford; nieces and nephews; and some dear dear friends and close relatives, including Dolly DiCarlo and Valerie Higgins.
She was predeceased by her son, Craig Leo Arsenault; husband Leo Joseph Arsenault; parents Francis and Mary (Sullivan) Muldowney; and brothers John, Francis and William Muldowney.
Visiting hours will be from 4- p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., in Trumbull. A mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, directly at St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., in Bridgeport. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Trumbull.
