BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Frances K. Hermanson, 90, beloved wife of 58 years to the late Andrew Hermanson passed away peacefully Sunday July 12, 2015 with her devoted family by her side.

Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Dest Komornik. A lifelong resident, she was a retired administrative assistant for the State of Connecticut.

She was a devout parishioner, founding member and Eucharistic minister of St. Andrew Church.

Survivors include her children, Beverly Bennett Schaedler and husband David of Newtown, Perry Hermanson and wife Cathy of Trumbull, John Hermanson and wife JoAnn of East Haven, her adoring grandchildren, Russell Bennett of North Carolina, Sarah Bennett of Danbury, Sherry Quintana of Stratford, Kristen Hermanson of Trumbull, Police officer John Jay Hermanson Jr. of Glenburn Maine, great-grandchildren Robert Bennett of North Carolina, Gianna Quintana of Stratford, brothers Henry and Joseph Komornik, sister Stephanie Tomasko, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by Anne Sebastine, Mary Gernat, Rose, Chris and John Komornik.

Friends are invited to go directly to St. Andrew's Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport Thursday, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. followed by interment in Mt. Grove of Easton Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St., Bridgeport.

If desired, donations may be made to St. Andrews Church in loving memory of Frances.
