A New York City woman is in Connecticut court seeking $127,000 from her nephew after his hug in 2011 caused her to fall and break her wrist, according to the Connecticut Post.
Jennifer Connell and her nephew Sean Tarala of Westport, who was 8 at the time, were in court last week for the jury trial, the Connecticut Post reported.
Though she considers her nephew to be very loving and sensitive, she said he acted unreasonably when he leaped into her arms at his birthday party at his Westport home, the story said. The hug ended up causing her injury, which has made life and work in Manhattan very difficult, the Connecticut Post said.
