BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Homes for the Brave in Bridgeport will host an indoor miniature golf tournament on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, at Oronoque Country Club in Stratford.

Proceeds from the event will support Homes for the Brave’s mission to help homeless individuals—most of whom are veterans—return to meaningful and productive lives.

Players in the tournament will enjoy 18 holes of mini golf, dinner, cocktails and the opportunity to win prizes.

The fee to participate is $100 or $75 for those who wish to attend dinner only. The foursome package is $400. Tee Sponsor is $100.

Guests can add a $100 Tee Sponsorship to their registration to have their team, family or company name displayed on a commemorative take-home tee sign.

Individuals and companies may also show support for veterans in need by participating as event sponsors or prize donors.

All tickets include hors d’oeuvres, dinner and a three-hour open bar.

Attendees must be 21 or older.

“People always ask us how they can give back on Veterans Day,” said Vince Santilli, Homes for the Brave chief executive officer. “By participating in this event, friends, colleagues and loved ones can enjoy a fun and relaxing night out while providing the goods and services our homeless veterans need most.”

Homes for the Brave Applied Behavioral Rehabilitation Institute (ABRI) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing safe housing, vocational training, and life skills coaching to homeless individuals, most of whom are veterans.

Since its opening in 2002, ABRI has served more than1000 homeless men and women through its three Bridgeport-based programs: Homes for the Brave, Waldorf Permanent Supportive Housing and Female Soldiers: Forgotten Heroes, Connecticut’s only transitional living facility for homeless female veterans and their children.

The event is from 6 - 10 p.m.
