Each is now vying for a spot in our ongoing DVlicious contest. The winner will be chosen Monday, March 21 at 5 p.m., soon after voting closes. In the meantime, here’s a brief profile of one our our finalists. Each nominee is being highlighted this week before the ultimate reveal on Tuesday, March 22.
So start sipping, savoring– and voting. You can vote multiple times, though only once per day. The winner receives a DVlicious certificate and the honors of being the county’s charismatic favorite.

The Fine Grind: NEAT sources and roasts all its own coffee including coffee from Finca El Mirador, a coffee farm in Columbia that its partially owned by Kyle Bellinger Director of Coffee for NEAT. The quality of the coffee, the food and the atmosphere is what attracts customers says Westport General Manager Grayson Levino. They also attract artists who stop by to work on their art that helps create a great community vibe.
Most Popular Brew: Finca El Mirador coffee is one of the most popular coffees at NEAT Darien. The shop also has nine different espresso drinks, three different types of iced coffee and two brewed coffees. They are also using a new Beacon Craft coffee that brews coffee in a vacuum chamber that removes the oxygen and makes a coffee prized by aficionados.
In Westport, the draft coffee is a popular choice. NEAT is one of the first places outside New York City to bring the idea of nitrogen iced coffee to Connecticut, says Sandra Walimaki, coffee director at NEAT Westport. It's a regular cold brew iced coffee that is infused with nitrogen.
