Alan Ramirez, 31, is currently in critical condition in a medically induced coma as doctors work to find out if he has internal bleeding or other injuries in addition to a severally damaged kidney, a small brain bleed, and a broken leg, said Jessica Herlihy on GoFundMe.

The crash took place around 8 a.m. Wednesday, on Honeyspot Road near the I-95 southbound entrance ramp, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.

"The collision occurred when a motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection," Eannotti said in a release. "The operator of the motorcycle was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment of serious injuries."

"It will be one moment, one second, one day at a time for the next 48-72 hours," she said. "Please consider donating to help relieve the stress of the mounting medical bills and regular living expense that still must be paid,"

Jes Mitchell, Alan’s longtime girlfriend, will be the beneficiary and will disburse the funds on his behalf.

"He won't be able to work for at least the next four to five months and it will be tough," said Mitchell.
