Storms Move Out, Great Summer Weekend Weather Ahead For Bridgeport

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — It rained overnight and into the early morning across Fairfield County, but that won't dampen the whole weekend. In fact, by late Saturday morning, the clouds were moving out and the sun was beginning to peek out. 

The weekend weather will be perfect to get outside. It will be hot enough to enjoy the beach.

The first weekend of summer in Fairfield County will truly feel like summer, with sunny skies by Saturday afternoon and a high temperature of about 85 degrees as everyone heads outside for fun.    

Saturday night will be clear — perfect for fireworks and sleeping — with a low of about 62 degrees. 

The great weather continues Sunday with with a high near 79 degrees and more sun. 

Sunday night will be clear, with a low of about 56 degrees. .

For the workweek, Monday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 76.
