FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The forecast for Fairfield County features a chance of rain and thunderstorms with temperatures cooling down to the 80s, according to the National Weather Service.
The high Thursday will be 84 degrees with a 20 percent chance of isolated thunderstorms. The chance of thunderstorms will continue Thursday night with a low of 67 degrees. Friday will feature a high of 85 degrees and mostly sunny conditions early with another 20 percent threat of storms in the afternoon. Friday night will be dry with a low of 67 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturday is predicted to be 86 degrees and mostly sunny, but will again have a 20 percent chance of storms later on and into the night, when the low will be 70 degrees. Sunday will wrap up the weekend with 84 degree temperatures and 30 percent chance of rain into the night. Thunderstorms are likely Sunday night, with a 60 percent chance of precipitation and a low of 69 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
