A tractor-trailer crash on I-95 South between Exit 29 for Stratford Ave and Exit 27a for Routes 8 and 25 is backing up traffic to Exit 30 for Lordship Boulevard/Route 113 on Monday morning.

original story: BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A jackknifed tractor-trailer accident was causing traffic delays on I-95 South near the Bridgeport-Stratford border, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation. 

The two right lanes were closed between Exits 29 and 27 after the accident,which was reported at 5:25 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, DOT said.

Traffic delays were reported back to Exit 30 for Lordship Boulevard/Route 113, DOT said.

Roads were reportedly wet and slick in the area after overnight snow and rain. 

It was not known how long it would take to clear the accident scene on I-95 south.
