Video: Trumbull High Band Steps Off For Macy's Thanksgiving Parade

TRUMBULL, Conn. — The Trumbull High School Golden Eagle Marching Band had a moment in the sun on Thursday as the members stepped off on the 3-mile-long route of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The band also wowed the crowds at the Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular on Sunday, and members of the band also staged an impromptu parade at a Monday send-off party at the Westfield Trumbull Mall.

They appeared on FOX’s “Good Morning New York” on Tuesday.

An estimated 3.5 million people crowded the streets of New York for a live glimpse of the storied parade with another 50 million tuned in at home.

The parade featured marching bands, giant balloons, and live musical performances and was broadcast nationwide on NBC.
