BRIDGEPORT, Conn -- Six candidates are running to fill four open seats on the Bridgeport School District's Board of Education, according to the ctpost.com.
Two Republicans, three Democrats and a Working Class candidate, all say they are ready to make a different in a district plagued by low student test scores and contentious school board members, according to the article on ctpost.com.
The Democratic candidates are former school board member Maria Pereira, 48, Ben Walker, 57, and Dennis Bradley, 31, reported the ctpost.com.
