Bridgeport Teachers Union Endorses Three For Board Of Education Spots

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The Bridgeport teachers union has endorsed three residents for open spots on the Board of Education, according to the Connecticut Post.

Two Democrats, Ben Walker and Dennis Bradley, and one Republican, Kevin McSpirit, received endorsements on Thursday.

The trio will face off against Democrat Maria Pereira, Republican John Weldon and Connecticut Working Families candidate Karen Jackson in the upcoming election, reported the Connecticut Post.

The Nov. 3 election will see voters pick three of four spots, ensuring minority representation on the board.
