BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – A Norwalk principal who was tapped to be the new head of Bassick High in Bridgeport as withdrawn her name from consideration, according to CT Post.

Marie Allen made a verbal commitment to the job, but the Norwalk district reportedly created a new position for Allen, prompting her to back out of her deal in Bridgeport and stay with her current district, CTPost said.
