2 Finalists Chosen For Superintendent Of Schools In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Bridgeport Schools Interim Superintendent Aresta Johnson and Agnella Katrise Perera are in the running for the post of schools superintendent, according to the Connecticut Post.

The candidates will be introduced at an upcoming school board forum, where they will give presentations and answer questions, school officials told the Post.

The salary for the new superintendent will be $260,000 annually, said the report.

Perera was previously superintendent of Isle of Wight County Schools in Smithfield, Va., according to the Connecticut Post.

Johnson became the interim superintendent when Superintendent Fran Rabinowitz left in December, according to the Connecticut Post.
