FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – As the new year began on Friday, a handful of new laws are now in place throughout Connecticut dealing with police accountability and telemedicine, according to The Hartford Courant.
The new police accountability laws include requiring state troopers to wear body cameras and offering incentives for municipal departments to purchase them The Hartford Courant said.
Other laws on the books include new mental health requirements for insurance, increased voter registration training, and more policies for telemedicine providers, reported The Hartford Courant.
