BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The FBI agent largely responsible for putting former Bridgeport Mayor Joseph Ganim in prison a decade ago is urging voters not to return him to office, according to a report in ctpost.com.
Michael Wolf, who headed the FBI's Connecticut office during the 2003 demise of Ganim on corruption charges, also expressed dismay that retired FBI agent Ed Adams has been appearing on the campaign trail with Ganim, ctpost reported.
Ganim, who is running for mayor in Tuesday's election, was served seven years in federal prison, according to ctpost.
