BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Former President Bill Clinton is planning an appearance at a $2,700-per-person fundraiser for his wife, Hillary Clinton, on Jan. 12 at the Black Rock waterfront home of technology leader Oni Chukwu, the website Only In Bridgeport reports.
The $2.8 million home on Black Rock Harbor is the newly renovated setting for the event to support Hillary Clinton's bid for the Democratic nomination to run for president, Only In Bridgeport says.

The first test of the Democratic campaign will come Feb. 1, as Hillary Clinton goes up against Bernie Sanders in the Iowa caucus, followed by the New Hampshire primary on Feb. 9.
Bill Clinton made his solo campaign debut in the 2016 race on Monday, speaking before a capacity crowd of about 700 in a Nashua Community College gym in New Hampshire.
