Two Out-Of-Town Teens Injured In Bridgeport Shooting

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Two out-of-town teenagers suffered nonfatal injuries in a shooting late Tuesday afternoon near  Mildner Drive and Union Avenue, Bridgeport police said.

Police responded at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Upon arrival at the scene, officers were informed that two people had been shot, and the victims had already been transported to Bridgeport Hospital in a private vehicle, police said. 

Officers contacted the hospital and learned that the first victim -- an 18-year-old white male from Milford -- suffered a gunshot wound to the right shoulder and one to the chest, police said. He is in stable condition at Bridgeport Hospital on Wednesday, police said. 

The second victim -- a 17 year-old black male from Stratford -- suffered a gunshot wound to the right hand, police said. He is in stable condition Wednesday at Bridgeport Hospital, police said.
