BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Two men were arrested in Bridgeport Monday night after one of them fired off a gun and police found three pounds of marijuana, according to the Connecticut Post.
Police responded to Trojan Drive Monday night on a report of shots fired and arrived to find one man standing in the street shirtless, holding a gun, the Connecticut Post reported. That man, identified as 49-year-old Glen Pieger of Bridgeport, had empty shell casings near him as well, according to the Connecticut Post.
Another man, 32-year-old Kevin Giardini of Shelton, was sitting in a car parked nearby, according to the Connecticut Post.
Police told the Connecticut Post that a search turned up three pounds of marijuana, as well as cocaine, Diazepam pills, and packaging material. Pieger was charged with illegally firing a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and operating a drug factory, according to the Connecticut Post.
Giardini was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of narcotics, the Connecticut Post reported.
Pieger was held on a $150,000 bond, while Giardini was released after posting a $15,000 bond, according to the Connecticut Post.
