Just before 10 p.m. Friday, an employee at Crave punched a customer in the face, after the victim and his wife and friends tried to take food off the employee’s tray, which he then spilled on them, police said.

The dispute moved outside, where Lianiker Vargas-Badilla, 23, of Wilton Avenue, Norwalk, swung at the man, cutting him over his eye, police said. The victim refused medical treatment.

Vargas-Badilla was charged with third-degree assault, police said. He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 16.

Around 1:10 a.m. Saturday, police arrested a Seymour woman after she bumped into another customer and then hit her in the face with a beer bottle, police said.

Sara Scheef, 25, of Brookdale Road, was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace in the incident, which was caught on surveillance tape.

The victim, who received a cut on the nose, said she didn’t know Scheef, police said.

Scheef was released on a promise to appear in court on May 17.
