Police were called to home on Walker Road and Thomas Street by residents who reported that their homes had been entered. Police determined that the burglaries occurred around 9:30 a.m. Monday.
The suspect entered both homes through windows and stole small items, police said. One of the homes was occupied by two elderly residents at the time, according to police.
Both homes are located off Main Street between the TownHall area and Stonehouse Road.
Police were able to obtain a surveillance video of the suspect on his bicycle from one of the burglaries, and detectives are asking the public if they recall seeing or speaking to the male Monday morning, and to contact police with any information.
The suspect is described as a white, possibly Hispanic male with dark hair who was wearing a blue shirt over a light blue shirt and a backpack. He was riding on a bicycle.
