BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Four men in a reported stolen van injured five people when they hit the family's station wagon in Bridgeport Tuesday night and then ran from the scene of the accident, according to the Connecticut Post.
Following the accident, the 41-year-old driver and four children had to be extricated from the vehicle at the crash site at the intersection of Chopsey Hill Road and Woodrow Avenue. The driver suffered a broken collarbone and internal injuries and the children, received scrapes and bruises, the Connecticut Post reported.
A police spokesman said the four men who were in the van have not been caught, added the Connecticut Post.
