BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – The Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad and the Milford State Attorney's Office are collaborating in the investigation of a Bridgeport man's death after a crash Monday morning on Interstate 95, according to the Connecticut Post.
Thomas Lane, 37, died at Yale-New Haven Hospital after an early morning crash on I-95 northbound between his Jeep and a tractor-trailer, the Post said.
The Jeep slid down an embankment, and a trooper used a Taser on Lane in the process of extricating him from the vehicle since "he became combative," state police spokeswoman Trooper Kelly Grant said in a press statement, reported the Connecticut Post
Grant added that Lane suffered head injuries in the crash, the Post noted.
