Southbury Woman, 32, Arrested On Warrant After Crash In Easton

EASTON, Conn. — A 32-year-old Southbury woman was arrested on an active arrest after she crashed her car on Rock House Road last week, Easton police said.

Krystal Leigh Loomis, of 434 Kettletown Road, veered off the roadway on Rock House Road at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 14, police said. 

She was issued a misdemeanor summons for no insurance and failure to drive right in the crash, police said.

After a computer check, officers discovered that Loomis was wanted on an arrest warrant by Connecticut State Police Troop A in Southbury. 

Loomis was subsequently arrested and taken to the Easton Police Department for processing. She was charged with probation violation and released after posting a bond of $10,000. She will appear in court Aug. 29.
