BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A woman was in stable condition after she was shot twice Friday night, Bridgeport police said.
At 9:15 p.m., officers responded to a call regarding a shooting in the area of Madison Avenue and George Street, police said.
Upon arrival, officers found a woman who was suffering from two nonfatal gunshot wounds to the right leg and the right arm/elbow, police said.
The victim was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital and was in stable condition Saturday, police said.
The suspects were described as two black men who are taller in stature, police said. One was wearing a black hoodie; another was wearing a dark grey hoodie, police said.
Detectives are actively investigating the incident.
