BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A 38-year-old man was charged with murder Monday in the death of a Bridgeport barbershop owner during a home invasion in October, according to the Connecticut Post.
Mario Varela, 38, was arrested Monday in Hartford by members of the U.S. Marshal Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force and charged with felony murder, home invasion, first-degree robbery and risk of injury to a child in the stabbing death of Jayson Rosado, 28, the Post said. He was held on $1.5 million bond, the Post said.
Waterbury resident Orlando Pacheco was arrested last week and charged with murder in the home invasion. A third suspect was sought, police said.
