BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – A Bridgeport woman is facing larceny and forgery charges after attempting to cash a bad check at a bank on Friday, according Milford Police.
Tanise Tapper, 21, attempted to cash a check for $523 at the People's United Bank on Broad Street. The check had been linked to an account that was linked to previous fraudulent activity, police said.
Tapper is scheduled to appear in court on June 6.
