Police Accuse Bridgeport Hair Stylist Of Selling Heroin

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A local hairstylist is accused of selling heroin and marijuana, according to the Connecticut Post.

Police said Steven Ortiz told them he was helping people out by selling the drugs, according to the Connecticut Post. 

The 27-year-old from Dover Street was charged with possession of narcotics intent to sell, and possession of narcotics with intent to sell near a school and possession of ammunition, according to the Connecticut Post.

When police went to Ortiz’s home they found nearly 100 bundles of heroin, marijuana and bullets for two guns. He posted $50,000 bond and was released, according to the Connecticut Post.
