BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Bridgeport police were searching for an SUV involved in a fatal hit-and-run of a pedestrian on North Avenue near Lindley Street on Tuesday night, according to News12 Connecticut.
The accident happened at about 9 p.m.
Connecticut State Police issued an alert for a burgundy Chevy Trailblazer missing the grill that fled the scene of the crash, according to scanner reports. The car may also have damage to the hood and the windshield, according to the Connecticut Post.
