BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A 21-year-old Norwalk man was busted on drug charges at about midnight Tuesday on Route 8/25 in Bridgeport by a Connecticut State Police Trooper, police said.
Christian Scott was charged with drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance and failure to drive in the proper lane on a multiple lane highway, police said.
Late Tuesday, a black 2011 Audi S5 was seen cutting across the gore area on Route 8/25 south at Exit 2 in Bridgeport, police said. The Audi was stopped at the bottom of the Exit 1 off ramp, police said.
During the traffic stop, probable cause was developed to search the Audi, police said. The search yielded the seizure of over 2.3 pounds of marijuana, 52.1 grams of concentrated THC, a large sum of money, digital scales, packaging material and other drug paraphernalia, police said.
Scott was released on $5,000 bond and assigned a court date on June 27.
