Man Shot Twice Outside Bridgeport Housing Complex

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A 20-year-old Bridgeport man was in critical condition after he was shot twice outside the Marina Village housing complex in Bridgeport on Monday morning, the Connecticut Post reported.

Police said Juquaahn Matthews was shot in the stomach and ankle in continuing gang violence and taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center, the Post said.

Police, responding on a report of seven or eight gunshots, saw and pursued a suspect with a handgun but lost sight of him, police said.
