BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A man was convicted of murdering Juan Marcano in a Bridgeport housing project more than nine years after the killing, according to the Connecticut Post.
Nirone "Gully Guns" Hutton, 31, was found guilty by a Superior Court jury of the Feb. 27, 2007 shooting death of Marcano, who was found lying in a stairwell at Greene Homes with two bullet holes in his back, according to the Connecticut Post. Hutton faces up to 60 years in prison when sentenced in March, said the Connecticut Post.
Witnesses during the two-week trial testified that Marcano, 25, had been visiting some girls when he was attacked by members of the Harlem 5 Star Generals, part of the Bloods gang, and was shot by Hutton, added the Connecticut Post.
