BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – An 18-year-old man was arrested in Bridgeport on Wednesday in the theft of a car, according to the Bridgeport Police Department.
Derek Williams, 18, was charged with larceny after police officers observed a white Hyundai Accent at around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday. Officers checked the license plates against the stolen vehicle list, and followed the vehicle when they realized the car was stolen, officials say.
A bond was set at $5,000 for Williams, according to the report.
