Four Bassick High Students Charged With Assault Of Special Needs Classmate

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Four Bassick High School students are facing assault and breach of peace charges after police say they beat up a special needs classmate at the Bridgeport school, the Connecticut Post reports.

The 15-year-old victim needed medical attention, but officials weren't certain whether the victim needed to be hospitalized, the Post said. No weapons were used in the attack, the Post says.

The four students are ages 14 and 15, the Post reports.
