STRATFORD, Conn. — No one was injured but a family of four was displaced by a fire in their Stratford home early Saturday, according to Patch.com.

The fire, reported shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday at at 584 Woodend Road, was contained to a second-floor bedroom, Patch.com said. But the entire second floor sustained smoke and heat damage, while the first floor saw moderate smoke damage, the story said.

The Red Cross is assisting, and the cause of the fire is under investigation, Patch.com said.
