Fairfield Police: Unlocked New Car Goes Missing In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Taintor Drive resident who left his new $34,000 car unlocked with the keys inside on Sunday is now looking for his stolen car, police said.

The man reported the blue 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe was last seen parked outside his home at 9 p.m. Sunday. When he looked for it around 6:45 a.m. Monday, the car was gone.

Police continue to warn residents to lock their cars at night.
